Nilsagor Seeds & Tissue Culture Ltd. is working across the country for the farmers since 2010. We already build our image and trust among the farmers. We have 195 skilled man power those are engaged in production, processing, R&D and sales in market’s. Our two Research and Development (R&D) station situated at Chinirkuthi, Nilphamari and Birganj, Dinajpur.The Research and Development (R&D) Department of the company has 18 qualified and experienced breeders engaged in research to develop varieties and technologies in two research centers.
We have ten seed production zone, two seed processing centre and twelve product development service station. We offer more than 120 hybrids and open pollinated varieties. Our breeders strive to develop appropriate hybrids for diverse market requirements. Major emphasis is on regional preferences, disease tolerance and resistance, yield, taste, earliness and shelf life.Our aim is to give farmers competent products, so that one can grow them in different agro climatic zones as well as adapt to fast changing climate. We have more than 650 educated seed dealer and more than 1500 sub-dealer.
Our plan is to grow this business through proper communication of agricultural practices and ensure appropriate use of hybrid seeds. We are focusing on more research and development of biotech products to ensure superior quality and quantity of agricultural outputs in the country. We facilitate high standard seed storing, packing and customer delivering. We have a modern tissue culture lab in which we produce virus free plantlets of potato. The virus free plantlets which cultivate in net house for produce virus free minitubers and subsequently breeder, foundation and certified seed to supply farmers.
Our seed business in associated with import and production of quality seeds of rice, wheat, potato, maize, pulses, oilseed crops etc. The business turn over yearly is 3.5 million BDT. In 2019 we are going to open new wing of pesticide and fertilizers in combination with seed.
